Unique?

Uniqueness… comes in all forms: talents, traits, etc. Uniqueness can be measured on such a wide spectrum. People mainly judge by if someone has a cool talent or has been a world traveler; so basically a trait that is out of the ordinary for regular people. I find it more of the passion behind a certain trait. For example, watching someone just dance on stage isn’t a unique trait. Seeing the passion in their face and how they move in the moment is what makes a dancer stand out from the rest. Seeing an individual care about something to such an extent you can see it in their everyday life is the main measurement of uniqueness.
Some people find it hard to feel the unique quality in them. It took a long time for me to discover that quality and to pursue it. It is a long journey that one must go on to self discover such a trait. When one comes to terms with who they are and find that something they love they will embark on the journey of their new uniqueness.
Unique qualities are hard to keep up with. That is why when I measure someone’s uniqueness I judge by the passion they have behind it. If one doesn’t have that certain drive behind something then it’s probably just a phase and they don’t give it 110 percent. Once an individual has found that calling they will have that passion to hang on to that uniqueness and follow through with everything it has to offer them.
Uniqueness is a gift. One must discover it and pursue it with all they have to make sure they don’t let it go. Because who wants to be just like everyone else? Why not stand out in the crowd and be noticed for something you were blessed with having. So main question… How do you measure one’s uniqueness? And do you think it has that big of an impact on one’s life?

Never Regret, Always Learn

Throughout life we choose to put ourselves in situations that we don't know what the outcome of it will be. We take chances and follow our heart because we have some sort of faith in what we want to pursue. Take relationships for an example, all sorts of couples take risks getting to know one another and take that chance of sharing their hearts and that special bond. And if that situation doesn't workout you feel taken advantage of, or betrayed and you hear that ugly word REGRET. Regret to me is like hate. A simple but powerful word that can hurt and mean so much. One should never feel regret.
I follow the three L's in life: Live, Learn, Laugh. One can live through many different experiences; whether they be good, bad, hurtful, sad, etc. But all one can do is learn from all they experience. You can wish to forget about an experience but it will always be with you. So stop wasting your time trying to forget it while you might as well learn and grow from it. After living and learning all you need to is laugh. I find the best medicine is laughter. No matter how awful a situation can be you can always find joy in it. Every time i thought my world was falling apart around me I always thought about the good times, and joyful things in life and new that the next day was gonna be bigger, better, and brighter.
So never feel that you have to mope and be sadden by any situation you get yourself into. Always know that you can be a better person from every thing you experience in life. And know that everyday has another adventure waiting for you right around the corner.

Dreaming

One of my favorite quotes is by Walt Disney, "All of your dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them". Dreaming can be a scary thing but, if we didn't have dreams or hopes; what kind of world would we live in? We would be living in a dull, black and white kind of world. The most successful people in the world became who they are by dreaming. I use to always think about the negative outcomes if I dreamed to hard and sheltered myself from outrageous experiences. I then realized I couldn't be successful in life if I didn't dream. But after being exposed to new people and experiences it dawned on me that I had been missing out on great things.

Setting goals for yourself is easy, but pursuing it til you reach your desired outcome, now that's a challenge. You might be scared of criticism and rejection but you have to not look at it in a negative aspect. Have the courage and strength to take it as advice to help you reach your goal. I am the number one scaredy cat in the world and hate the idea of rejection, but I have grown so much from criticism and have worked hard my flaws to later succeed in great experiences.

My main message here is don't be scared to dream. Don't be scared to pursue your dreams. Coming from a fellow dreamer if you don't have the courage to pursue your greatest passion in life, well you're missing out on great people, experiences, and most of all MORE DREAMS
